For some reason, we always want the things we cant have.
always. and wondering back, it seems so true.
in fact, too true to even find an excuse for it..
people ranging from kids to adults might say
'No, i want that toy and i got it' or
'No, i want that newspaper and i got it'
but, think it over.
when you actually says i want and i got it, the process in between.
there is always a 50% chance of not being able to get it.
and maybe thanks to the half of a chance of not getting it,
people starts settling for the less..
people start settling for things that are easier to get.
things that have a higher chance of getting it then failure.
and once again. we ponder. then is this what we really want?
or do we just want this cause we will not be able to get the real deal?
are these just replacement or have you really start wanting these?
have you started to get accustom to these or are you unable to forget the ones you want?
maybe and, only maybe have we truly told ourself that 'im giving up'.
'that i am going to forsake the remaining 50% of success and save myself from the hurt of failing' it might mean that the next thing you own is not settling for the less..
but no matter what happen.
no matter what you told yourself.
it all boils down to the fact that we always want things we cant have.
and it doesnt matter alot when everything comes to an end.
cause at that point of time. you might have a new realization.
that you are happy with what you have.
with what you have chosen.
even if there's still a tinge of regret and sadness deep within..
